Adam Marchiorello, LCPC

Existential Therapy, EMDR — Individuals — Adolescent and Older

My journey as a therapist and my ceaseless continuing education have taught me that our problems tend to originate in childhood where adversity left lasting impressions on us. It is okay to look to the past for answers. Working through old material leaves one with an improved narrative and more freedom in the choices they make in the present.

Katie Golly, LCPC/SEP

Somatic Experiencing, Person-Centered, Play Therapy—Individuals—Ages 5 and Up

As a trauma informed therapist, I utilize Somatic Experiencing™ techniques to provide gentle and safe support. I believe in the wisdom of the body’s capacity for healing and work to develop resources that allow individuals to uncover the true self that lies underneath trauma. I believe the key to success in therapy starts with creating a strong therapeutic relationship and I strive to create a nurturing, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. I honor a holistic perspective that incorporates biological, psychological, sociological, and spiritual forces in an individual’s life. I have experience working with individuals of all ages with anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, complex trauma and accumulated stress utilizing techniques from both cognitive (“top down”) and somatic (“bottom up”) based therapeutic modalities.

Maybe you find yourself just going through the motions and not living the way that you’d like. Or, maybe you just want to figure out where you fit in the world. Whatever you’re struggling with, we can collaborate and figure out the best way to get you to where you’d like to be. I specialize in helping people develop healthy boundaries and helping clients to be more honest & authentic with themselves. It’s okay to not be okay. I meet clients where they’re at and utilize humor to explain topics and help clients feel comfortable. EMDR therapist Alexis Crystal Lake

Alexis Bray, LPC

Eclectic Therapy, Existential Therapy, EMDR, Logotherapy, Addictions—Individuals—Late Teens and Up

I take an integrated approach to counseling but am based in a logotherapeutic and Existential Psychotherapeutic theoretical orientation. I utilize these approaches while incorporating concepts from therapies such as Somatic and Emotion Focused therapy. If you are looking for a more philosophical approach that focuses on the existential givens and our place in the world while allowing room for our emotions and attachments, then I hope to work with you. I believe that human growth requires one to be non-judgmental, authentic, and willing to face ones challenges head on. It is my goal to foster a space that welcomes vulnerability, self-compassion, and exploration while finding ones way through their life journey; and their search for meaning in their life, relationships, and world
